Kristi Elliott, MS, LPC-S
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I provide therapeutic counseling services in my Bulverde office either on-line or face to face. I utilize a variety of techniques including Mindfulness, EMDR, CBT, Art and Play to maximize coping skills and help you feel better. Theoretically, I follow a holistic, trauma focused, person centered approach. I first obtained a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) degree from Texas Tech University and started my professional career with Harris County Children's Protective Services. Shortly thereafter, I attended University of Houston - Clear Lake and obtained a Master of Science in Counseling along with certification as a special education teacher and elementary education teacher. I taught for a few years before becoming a certified school counselor and recently retired after 30 years in education.
My primary areas of focus include children, adolescents and adults that are struggling with a variety of mental health and life struggles. I have been successful helping people find relief from anxiety, depression and trauma. I enjoy helping people find peace by including meditation, mindfulness, self-compassion and gratitude into their daily lives.
I have worked as a therapist part-time since obtaining my professional counselor license in 2006 and am excited to transition to a full-time therapy practice!
I also supervise LPC Interns and provide training for counselors and employers on a variety of topics.
